You have:

Academic degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Auditing and Finance.
1 to 2 years of experience working in accounting and treasury areas.
Knowledge and experience in invoice handling, system registration and electronic payment.
Handling accounting packages.
Experience in non-profit organizations and/or international cooperation agencies.
Experience in financial management of donations from national and/or international sources.
Database management.

Job Description

Accounting

– Review and control the office’s accounting records and the financial reports of partners in the country, in accordance with tax regulations and donor guidelines. – Record transactions in the institutional accounting system. – Assist in preparing tax returns; generating corresponding payroll forms; and fulfilling other institutional obligations with government entities as applicable. – Manage the physical and digital accounting archive. – Prepare documentation for institutional and project audits. – Organize supporting documentation for the preparation of financial reports.

Treasury

– Ensure that internal control procedures are followed for all institutional disbursements. – Review and process travel expense reports and petty cash reimbursements in the system. – Control advances. – Process and ensure timely payments to suppliers, staff, for taxes, social security, and other obligations. – Manage the financial resources provided by the donor. – Prepare, review, and submit financial reports within the timeframes established by the donor. – Ensure compliance with the donor’s guidelines regarding the management of financial resources and financial reporting. – Support procurement processes.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS :

– Academic degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Auditing and Finance. – 1-2 years of experience in accounting and treasury. – Knowledge and experience in invoice management, system registration, and electronic payments. – Proficiency in accounting software. – Experience with non-profit organizations and/or international cooperation agencies. – Experience in the financial management of national and/or international donations. – Database management skills.
